As for the saints who are in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all My delight.

 -Psalm 16:3

The Universal Syriac Orthodox Church has many spiritually vibrant fathers from which to draw strength. Some of these fathers had such a visible, close relationship to our Lord that the Church refers to them as "saints". Understanding the character of these blessed individuals feeds our own piety. As you discover the qualities that made these individuals great, recall that you walk in the faith they upheld, and that they uphold you in intercession still.
