New Church Starting in Phoenix, Arizona
- On Sunday, March 12, 2006, H.E. Mor Titus Yeldho Pathickal
will conduct the Holy Qurbana at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox
Church, 525 North 74th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85257 and start
the new parish. Rev. Fr. John Kothakeril, who recently
immigrated to the USA, will be the Vicar of this parish. For

Midwest Regional Conference
50 or faithful youth from the
Midwest attending this conference themed "Faith, the source of our
Strength" came away spiritually refreshed after hearing messages
from Rev. Dn. Joel Jacob and V. Rev. Moolayil Achan. The meeting was
held at St. Peter's Church, Chicago. More details to come.

Houston St. Mary's hosts the Southern
Regional Meeting of St. Mary's Women's league
Women from around the Southern
Region, mostly from the Houston area and Dallas, met on March 4 at
St. Mary's SOC, Houston. His Grace Thomas Mor Timotheos, Bishop of
Kottayam and Outside Kerala, was the keynote speaker. Fresh from
participating at the proceedings of the World Council of Churches in
Brazil, His Grace delivered a compelling message. Details and

Regional Leadership Conference March 17-19
prototype for Archdiocesan Leadership Conference
The Southern Region is planning a youth leadership conference at
Lakeview Retreat Center in Waxahachie, Texas. This will be a model for an
Archdiocesan wide youth leadership meeting. Many topics, from
spiritual focus to church organization will be considered. MGSOSA
leaders are expected to attend.
