Dallas St. Ignatious' July 30th, 2005 - Volunteering Opportunity at "Rainbow Room"

The volunteering at the Rainbow Room went really well. Everyone had fun and enjoyed the things we helped with. There were probably 50+ people there from
different organizations and the groups were split up. A majority of the people were sent to make backpacks for kids with no resources to be able to purchase the
backpacks themselves. We went to the actual rainbow room and we helped to organize clothes, shoes, etc. Then we made easter buckets/baskets. After this we
helped clean up.

Houston St. Mary's August 6th, 2005

The region's first 'back to school' event was held at the church in conjunction with the parish's vacation Bible school. Fourteen members participated, as well as Fr. Mathai and the Sunday School headmaster. The theme was 'From Temptation to Transformation,' building upon last year's theme and examining how Christians can move from slaves of sin to slaves of Christ, experiencing victory along the way. A great time!
